plone - Site Cleanup after Upgrade / Migration -


i going prepare migration our existing plone site hosted on windows machine linux host.
hereby got few problems didnt resolved mysef, , glad if give me few hints how new instanze runnig in clean manner.

here short summary of steps taken during migration , upgrade current version.

  • i did fresh install on debian jessy installer (4.3.4.r1).

  • to test installation created new instance , got buildout process running without errors

  • copied filestorage , blobstorage of existing instanze new server

  • after first login started upgrade process form 4305->4309. finished successfully, few hints non existing extensions

    • step ploneboard-various has invalid import handler

    • step simpleattachment has invalid import handler

      we tested these addons few years ago, , seems didn't cleaned correct.
      tried install current version, can uninstall, dont seem official supported under current plone versions didn't succeed this. have hint how remove such expired addons?

  • in zope management interface reinstalled addons, correct versions listed

    this are:

    plone classic theme 1.2.5 1.3.3
    plone jquery tools integration 1.5.5 1.6.2
    plone true gallery 3.3.1b1 3.4.5
    workflow policy support (cmfplacefulworkflow) 1.5.9 1.5.10
    working copy support (iterate) 2.1.10 2.1.12

as reinstall extension plone classic theme version 1.3.3 tinymce editor stops working (no control bar tinymcebody , text shows plain text), , following errors when try save new article

i solved errors following post:
unable add content new plone site: valueerror: unable find update_version_before_edit exception
tinymce doesn't work more.
so, behavior correct, , have stay old plone classic theme, or there weird installation s should try correct?

about ploneaboard: why it's not supported anymore? latest versions works in plone 4.3. however: can manually removed invalid import handlers going zmi -> portal_setup -> "manage" tab

about tinymce: issue affects lot of users recently. if don't see tinymce editor means have javascript errors (check browser console log). commonly fixed manually run upgrade steps.

go again zmi -> portal_setup -> "upgrades" tab -> select "products.tinymce:tinymce" upgrade steps run.
