css - How can I determine the escape sequence for characters in an icon font? -


i working theme uses custom built set of icons loaded font. if download font can load in font manager , see icons, how determine escape sequence use in css render particular icon? there utility or way translate icons relative escape codes?

for windows:

start -> programs -> accessories -> system tools -> character map

select font, select character. character code shown in status bar @ bottom.
