Android Studio stuck at downloading components -


this question has answer here:

i opened android studio , showed me "downloading components" dialog message "downloading android sdk tools, revision 24.2".

now never called update , did not ask me either. waiting half hour damn thing complete, stuck.

is there way eliminate auto update , download of android sdk tools in android studio?

close internet connection , start studio. worked me!.
