select data source disabled under substitute when try add data pool project in ibm mobilefirst platform test workbench 8.7. i having same issue mentioned @rakesh manusani in question.

  2. i able select data pool use in test

i stuck in step 6.b.

i right click on username field in test script , select substitute , option select data source looks disabled

i using mtw 8.7 , mfp 7.0

steps follow:

  1. create project , record test
  2. create data pool variable(s) , value(s) per req.
  3. if want substitute value of data table in script
  4. say if username stored under variable "user" in data pool.
  5. then @ script property on right side, input username, replace recorded value variable name "user"
  6. now double click on text in username text field ("user"), means text value in username field in test script should highlighted, ctrl+a.
  7. if right click on highlighted text find select data source option enabled under substitute

i added new project. made mistake in projectname.conf file in sites-available apache2, led me reinstalling apache2. after reinstalling , re-enabling projects on every page of every project .. <body> run(); </body> .. i've run composer update, restarted service, restarted pc, checked config files, tried disabling new project. there nothing in error log, , access.log: 127.0.0.1 - - [15/may/2015:01:40:47 +0200] "get / http/1.1" 304 181 "-" "mozilla/5.0 (x11; ubuntu; linux x86_64; rv:38.0) gecko/20100101 firefox/38.0" maybe i'm forgetting apache2 reinstall? don't think did different last time installed it. looks haven't setup php correctly. take @ this great guide , maybe you're forgetting link php config apache2.
